Flambeau Europe wins Manufacturer of the Year after a demanding year
Based in Ramsgate, Flambeau Europe has continued to invest in its manufacturing capability, strengthen customer relationships and support long-term growth. Over the past 12 months, the business has added new machinery, retained key customer accounts, increased sales and continued developing its people and operations.
The award means even more because of what the business has faced during the last year. Flambeau Europe returned to full operation within one week after a targeted break-in and copper theft. Later in the year, the team restored full operation within just 18 hours after a fire at the facility. Those recoveries showed the resilience, teamwork and leadership behind the business.
Investment, resilience and growth
Flambeau Europe operates from a 140,000 sq. ft. facility in Ramsgate and employs nearly 100 people. With a machinery fleet ranging from 35T to 1700T, the business supports customers across the UK and internationally through its Complete Customer Solutions approach. This includes product and tool design, tooling support, material selection, injection moulding, quality control, assembly, packaging and logistics.
Over the last year, the company has continued investing in its machinery and wider capability. It has also maintained strong customer relationships and built on its position as a trusted manufacturing partner.
